Agilysys, Inc. (AGYS) recently came extending its long-standing partnership with Shift4 Payments to increase market presence of both companies while providing flawless experience to guests visiting the hospitality operators.
Agilysys is a leading global provider of next-generation hospitality software solutions and services while Shift4 is also an industry-leader in integrated payment processing systems. With addition of end-to-end payment solution of Shift4, customers of Agilysys can experience a fully integrated payment process at their premises. The integration will provide them with an ease of connecting their processes from on-premises dining to spa services; and from online reservations to check-outs including many other services.
In a recent move, Shift4 came integrating with ChecOut M, a 7”, EMV-ready, mobile point of sale (mPOS) device created by Innowi. That will allow mobile terminals of Agilysys customers to operate complete version of its InfoGenesis software.

Expanding joint efforts with Shift4 Payments will provide our customers with leverage to get high-end integrated payment experience through its end-to-end payment platform, said Don DeMarinis, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Agilysys.
Agilysys Pay is a secure payment processing solution of Agilysys and that solution has also been covered by the extended agreement. This will allow a fully integrated solution to Agilysys to remain enhancing its customers’ access to validated point-to-point encrypted (P2PE) EMV payment technology. The complete integration through Shift4’s solution will also enable Agilysys customers’ to quickly attach with company’s other systems including point of sale and property management systems, DeMarinis added.
