TrueCar, Inc. (TRUE) saw a rise of 2.68% in its stock price on Tuesday. The stock concluded the day at a price of $4.98 from previous closing price of $4.85.
TrueCar on the day announced its collaboration with luxury carmaker Audi. The teaming up is to provide verified TrueCar Military car shoppers with preferred pricing and exclusive incentives on Audi’s new SUVs and cars.
The company operates a website with automotive information and pricing of new and used cars for the users. The service provides users with price comparison in their local area for desired vehicles whether new or used. The service also allows users to receive upfront prices from its Certified Dealers. There have been over 15,000 of such dealers attached with TrueCar’s network.
Company started the TrueCar Military Auto Member Offer from Tuesday which will remain available until January 4, 2021 through its TrueCar Military. The offer stands valid at all Audi dealership countrywide. Verified members of TrueCar Military can avail the additional cash discount of $750 to $1,000 on select new 2020 and 2021 models.
The offer provides the U.S. military personnel with a great way to discover the Audi brand, TrueCar’s Senior Vice President, Tompkins said. It also allows them to take advantage of premium prices across Audi’s key models and to make benefits of TrueCar Military as a value addition to its services.
The eligible shopper must generate an authorization number for purchase under his or her name. Audi will issue that 8-digit alpha-numeric number through which shopper can activate the offer. The authorization number can be issued once and is not transferable. To redeem the offer at an Audi dealership, shoppers have to bring the hard copy of the Offer Form along with a Driver License to
TrueCar Military has been launched by the company in May this year. The dedicated vehicle purchase program is focused to provide military personnel and their families with exclusive Military and other incentives.
